Описаны географические особенности ареалов древесных пород-долгожителей на территории АР Крым. Предложено использовать ход роста дерева по диаметру в качестве основного критерия для оценки его возраста. Предложено использовать авторские формулы, отражающие корреляционную связь между возрастом и диаметром ствола дерева, для определения его возраста. Учтен фактор влияния экотопа, в котором произрастает дерево, при определении его возраста.

The geographical peculiarities of areals with long-lived woody species on the territory of the Crimea have been described. It is suggested to use the trees growth in diameter as a main criterian for evaluation its age. It is suggersted to use the author’s formula, reflected the correlaton link between the age and the diameter of the trunk for for determination of the tree age. The factor of ecotope’s influence, in which the tree grows, has been taken into consideration while the determination of the age.
